Marshall Benbow
Marshall Benbow has served on InterVarsity staff since 1997, first as a campus minister, then as an associate area director, and now part-time as the GUPY director. He now works for his church, Grace Community Church as the director of outreach. More importantly, Marshall is married to Diane and together they are parents to Eliza, Psalter, and Jacob. Their family loves the Tar Heels, reading books before bed time, and going to the park and the museum. Marshall’s favorite author is Eugene Peterson, and he loves to listen to music, run, and play basketball. He also tries to blog regularly at www.joyinthemargins.blogspot.com. If he had time, energy, and dedication enough, he would love to learn to play the banjo and to speak Spanish. But for now he has to settle for listening to bluegrass and sending his kids to a Spanish immersion magnet school.
